Mirror, Mirror on the wall

I could never ever hate Regina. Not even at all.

Here is what I do not understand about Once Upon A Time; it operates under the assumption that the Evil Queen is the source of all the misery in Storybrooke and that Regina Mills IS the Evil Queen, however the people in the town do not know this and therefore go about their lives as usual. Correct? Then why do most of them treat Regina the way they do?

I’ll put it under the cut, cause I may have gone on a bit. Included are my thoughts on the latest episode.

Finally saw OUAT.

Thoughts?

  • Regina. Regina. Regina. Regina Mills. Madame Mayor. The Evil Queen. How can an entire episode about you trying to kill somebody make me love you even more. So much pain and anguish. Evil actions, evil deeds, tortured heart. That moment when Graham and Emma walked away from her in the woods, was amazing. I literally reached for the screen! So dramatic. I know some people feel strongly about seperating the Evil Queen from Regina and that may be true up until some point, but you can see the same pain in both their eyes. The only difference is Regina has learned to care again while the Evil Queen was still overcome with hatred. I loved it all. Lana Parrilla, you are fucking brilliant with your portrayal of this character.
  • Graham. Am I unhappy he is dead, nah. Am I happy, not really either. I never saw any truth in him, not untill the very end. Though, as I am realizing now as I am writing this was kind of the point, with him not having his heart and all. So yeah, well done show. But that also meant that in my eyes he had zero chemistry with both Emma and Regina. I’ll miss his pretty face though (he actually strongly reminds me of this waiter at a restaurant I frequent).
  • Emma Swan. Still going strong. To me, that is. She’s still the voice of reason in this whole thing. Her WTF face is beyond epic. When she saw the wolf over Graham’s shoulder, I actually laughed. Though I secretly loved her more when she was making it clear that she had no feelings for Graham and if I was going by her face I would have had to have believed her. So I don’t know what all those other characters were on about, lol. And hun, you don’t need a man to show you what love is. Trust me.
  • Snow White. We learned nothing more except more mystery and questions from you. She’s obviously more sympathetic to the Evil Queen then one might think. I can’t wait to learn more!!
  • That fight was epic. No bitch fight in sight. All fists baby!

Basically, I loved this episode. The special effects made me giggle a bit, but I liked it overal. Strong story, strong acting. My favorite combo. The preview for next week looks sick!
